The Opportunity Advantage

Opportunities are one of the most effervescent things we encounter in life. It comes and leaves without warning. Comes with promises but leaves with regrets. Sometimes we don't make use of opportunities as we should. You should all be familiar with the phrase "GRAB YOUR COPY NOW", usually used for marketing new movies and other stuff in Nigeria. You have to use a violent "Grab Your Copy" mentality sometimes because opportunities wait for no man. Also, we are in the information age and as we move ahead into the twenty-first century, we discover that there are more people with equal or better qualifications than ourselves searching for openings everywhere. Because of this, you need to broaden you search radius, use better radar equipment as it where so you can be the first to be informed. You get to have an edge in life. To accomplish this, you have to be creative in your approach, meet more people daily, use all the internet resources you can find, introduce yourself to influential/relevant people, offering them your service, "FAMZ" big time and develop your people skills to the fullest. Those who make it are those who are really desperate to make it. Thomas Edison tried 99 times before he got it. Don't be a p***y and stop at the fifth try. It's not over until you win.

BIBLE TRUTH

To unconverted persons, a great part of the Bible resembles a letter written in cipher. The blessed Spirit’s office is to act as God’s decipherer, by letting His people into the secret of celestial experience, as the key and clew to those sweet mysteries of grace which were before as a garden shut up, or as a fountain sealed, or as a book written in an unknown character.—Toplady

The International Day of Families. Families that Changed the world.

The International Day of Families is an occasion to celebrate the importance of families to people, societies and cultures around the world. ‏International Day of Families promotes the importance of a healthy and well-balanced family‏ Here is a short write-up on the families that have changed the world through business: Family business is the oldest and most common model of economic organizations. Some of the World's largest companies are run by families e.g. Walmart, Samsung and Foxconn to mention a few. Families such as the Rothschilds have proved that the bonds formed by strong family relationships can help accelerate the growth of family owned enterprises. Their family is believed to have possessed the largest fortune in modern world history. They even have their own coat of arms! They started as a father and 5 sons monopolizing the banking sectors in Austria, England, France, Frankfurt and later USA in the 1700's. They lent money to countries such as Britain, Japan and Brazil, they financed wars and determined the trading value of gold even till this day. They are reknowned for having 41 palaces of immense luxury immeasurable to those of the richest royal families all over the world. The Walmart family runs the Walmart retail stores that has become the world's largest retail store chain, accruing over 440 billion US Dollars in annual sales. Finally, Family businesses are the backbone of the American economy, 30% of companies in America are family-controlled and they contribute to 50% of the GDP and 60% of employments -Forbes. Hence, the family structure is important and should be treated with respect and utilized efficiently by those wishing to accumulate fortune to last for generations. United, we stand, stronger and richer.

What is GRACE? a short story....

After twenty years of shaving himself every morning, a man in a small Southern town decided he had enough. He told his wife that he intended to let the local barber shave him each day. He put on his hat and coat and went to the barber shop, which was owned by the pastor of the town's Baptist church. The barber's wife, Grace, was working that day, so she performed the task. Grace shaved him and sprayed him with lilac water and said, "That will be $20." The man thought the price was a bit high, but he paid the bill and went to work. The next morning the man looked in the mirror and his face was as smooth as it had been when he left the barber shop the day before. "Not bad," he thought, "At least I don't need to get a shave every day." The next morning the man's face was still smooth! Two weeks later the man was STILL unable to find any trace of whiskers on his face. It was more than he could take, so he returned to the barber shop. "I thought $20 was high for a shave," he told the barber's wife, "but you must have done a great job. It's been two weeks and my whiskers still haven't started growing back." The expression on her face didn't even change, expecting his comment. She responded, "You were shaved by Grace. Once shaved, always shaved!

Live your life to the fullest. A lot of us are hindered by the opinions we have of the opinions others have about us. What a tragedy! You should live your life not the way others -friends & family see you but the way God expects you too. FREEDOM, freedom is not when I do anything just because I want to. It is doing what God wants me to do to the last detail.
